As an indigenous Company with passion to contribute to the global cocoa output, Great Marfa Farms intends to expand its business by investing in large-scale cocoa farming. The proposed farm is expected to be a 200 hectare farm to be located in Olowin-Owode in Osun State, Southwest Nigeria.
To reach this goal, many business, statutory and governmental partnerships has been formed. In addition, a suitable land has been located and discussions is ongoing with the representatives of the land owners and Great Marfa Farms. The government of Osun State, the host state will offer our Company assistance in the areas of: Security, Investment Incentives and Legal Matters.
Our farm will cultivate Sustainable and Traceable Cocoa. To favorable compete in quality and standard, we had secured the partnership of Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria (CRIN), whose one of the mandate crop is cocoa. The Institute will offer us technical assistance in the areas of crop development and Good Agricultural Practice (GAP).
As a small Company desiring to be big, we are seeking foreign partnership from chocolate manufacturers, cocoa traders and investors.
